Early Years Government Funding
The Early Years Government Funding entitles every 3-year old to 15-hours free nursery education a week for 38-weeks a year (570-hours per year). This can be taken in a variety of ways to meet your childcare needs.
You can also book additional hours on top of your funded hours.
Eligibility for this funding is from the term AFTER your Child’s 3rd birthday.
You may be eligible for 30-hours free childcare if you meet the Government criteria (1140 hours per year).
Please check the Government website (link below) to determine if you are eligible for the extra hours. If you are eligible you will need to register (using the link below) to be allocated a funding code. Brambles needs this before any extra hours can be provided.
Other Help Towards Childcare Costs
There are many other ways in which you can receive help towards your childcare costs, including;
Tax Free Childcare (0 to 11-years or 16-years if the child is disabled),
Child Tax Credits (0 to 15-years or 16-years if the child is disabled) and
Universal Credit for Childcare (0 to 15-years).
We also accept Childcare Vouchers. Check to see if your employer offers this as you could be £300.00 better off for every £1000.00 of your salary you put towards the Voucher Scheme. For more information on any of the above please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/.
